American Chronicle Online recently published a story praising Moringa for its life nurturing potential and its bio-fuel production which can be harvested to save the environment. The article continues as, “It [Moringa] was only relatively recently that I was introduced to some of the virtues of the “moringa” tree. This tree is rapidly becoming a favorite among growers intending to produce oils. The leaves are used in treating a huge number of complaints, some 300 diseases and conditions may be helped according to traditional medical practices. The seeds are about 30 to 40 percent oil, but one of the most interesting properties is that the crushed seed “cake” that remains after the oil is extracted can be dried and ground into a powder which is used as a highly effective water treatment. That is to say, that moringa seed powder is added to cloudy, dirty water. The long chain molecules in the powder coagulate both particles and bacerial matter causing them to sink to the bottom and leaving clear water above.”
