Canadian School Raises Money to Plant Moringa Trees in Developing Countries
A local Canadian News Paper, South Sunny News, recently reported a story displaying the fund raising efforts of Coalhurst High School to buy animals and plants for developing countries.
To date, the school has raised over 6000 dollars to purchase: “a stable of animals for a small village ($1,200), an agricultural pack of seeds and tools for a family ($30), antibiotics for 20 children ($60), a beehive for an entrepreneur to start a business ($100), 10 fruit trees for a community ($60), a bag of groceries for a hungry family in Canada ($30), help to a sexually exploited child ($75), two hens and a rooster for a family ($55), immunizations for an entire community of children ($100), Moringa trees for a family ($125), four mosquito nets to combat malaria ($60), a piglet for a family ($40), two rabbits for a family ($35), psychological treatment for a child soldier ($75), safe delivery care for a mother and child ($120), fully-stocked medical clinics for two communities ($200) and six World Vision gift cards ($300).”
