Moringa Project in Ghana 04: Project Aims and Objectives I
The following are the aims and the objective of the project:
Short Term:
To reduce malnutrition in the project communities especially among women and children within 2 years period.
Long Term:
- To sustain moringa cultivation, processing and consumption as self-renewable food source in the project communities
- To stabilize the cultivation of moringa as a cash crop to generate income leading to poverty reduction in the project communities
Project Objectives
- To create the awareness of moringa, its uses and nutrition benefits
- To reeducate farmers on moringa cultivation and processing
- To research into foreign market for moringa
