Rwanda Unveils New Bio-fuel Bus

As fossil fuels sore in price, and the green movement is catching wind across the globe, countries like Rwanda have turned their attention to alternative means of fueling their transportation systems.

On March 26th 2010, the BBC reported a story unveiling the first Bio-Fuel Bus in Rwanda. The Bus runs on Moringa Oils, Avocado Oils, Jatropha Oils, and old cooking oils. Rwanda’s Minister of Forestry and Mines, Christopher Bazivamo plans to plant Moringa Trees along the side of the roads to grow the fuel they need, and develop an scenic, economical, and efficient use of time and space to curb their dependence on foreign energy.
