Students Design Water System for African Village

Cincinnati.com recently reported a story describing efforts of a local school to design a water structure for a village in Africa. “About 80 St. Ursula Academy students have designed sustainable water filtration and waste management systems that could one day improve the lives of people living in villages 8,000 mile away in East Africa.”

As part of their final exam, these students used candid items that may be found in an African village as well as Moringa seedlings which are used to purify water. The project allowed the students for an opportunity to extend their knowledge to help people across the globe.
